The Southwest Soccer Club After School Program is designed to help players develop strong technical skills and confidence in a structured, supportive training environment.
Led by a professional, licensed coach who is also a Director within the club, the program focuses on individual player development through high-quality training sessions. This program is ideal for players who are:
- Looking to improve their technical skills
- Preparing to join a competitive team
- Seeking additional training alongside their current level of play
Sessions are structured to provide focused repetitions, proper technique, and a positive learning atmosphere. The goal is to help each player build a strong foundation and progress at their own pace.

Southwest Soccer Club has supported Temecula Valley families since 2001, and our after-school soccer exists for a simple reason: parents need a safe, active place for their kids between the school bell and pickup. For 25+ years we have combined real coaching with supervised care.
In our experience, after-school time is wasted when it is just supervision. So we build ours around age-appropriate soccer and social development, led by background-checked staff. We found that kids who stay active and engaged after school arrive home happier — and often discover a game they want to keep playing.
Common questions
Is after-school soccer just supervision?
No. It combines supervised care with real, age-appropriate soccer coaching and social development — so the time is active and productive, not just filled. Staff are background-checked.
Does my child need soccer experience to join?
Not at all. After-school programs welcome complete beginners. Many families start here, and some players discover they want to continue into recreational or competitive soccer.

Two things matter to every soccer parent: safety and coaching. On safety, the CDC's HEADS UP program explains the concussion signs every family should recognize. On coaching, our director holds the USSF “A” License, the highest coaching qualification in U.S. soccer, earned by fewer than 1% of American coaches.
