Southwest Soccer Club is the youth soccer club that Wildomar families trust for the whole journey. We have coached players here in the Temecula Valley since 2001, which is more than 25 years in the same community. In that time we have worked with every kind of player, from toddlers taking a first kick to high schoolers chasing a college roster spot. In our experience, the hardest question for a parent is rarely whether a child is talented enough. It is knowing the honest next step, whether that means a first recreational season, focused training, or a competitive tryout. So we start every Wildomar family the same way, with a free evaluation instead of a sales pitch. Our coaches watch your child play, and then we tell you plainly where they fit and what the pathway ahead looks like.

Why does that honest start matter so much? Over 25 seasons we found a clear pattern: players placed at the right level improve faster and stay in the game longer. That is the difference a settled, 25-year club can offer over a program that changes hands every season. You can read more about our club, or contact our Wildomar coaching staff to book your evaluation.

Two things matter to every soccer parent: safety and coaching. On safety, the CDC's HEADS UP program explains the concussion signs every family should recognize. On coaching, our director holds the USSF “A” License, the highest coaching qualification in U.S. soccer, earned by fewer than 1% of American coaches.

Wildomar Questions

Common Questions from Wildomar Families

Wildomar families have one of the shortest commutes, just 15 to 20 minutes south on I-15 to our Temecula fields. Whether you are near Central Park or Marna O'Brien Park, the drive is direct and easy, and traffic is light outside of rush hour.
Wildomar rec leagues focus on participation, while we offer a structured competitive path where players can start in rec and move up to SOCAL National 1 League play. Our coaches are USSF-licensed and we have won 10+ State Cup championships, so local leagues are not set up for that kind of development.
Yes, we work as a great complement, and many of our Wildomar players also play for their middle or high school teams. Club soccer adds year-round training and higher-level competition, along with recruiting visibility that school seasons alone cannot match, and it does not conflict with school schedules.
Our staff is led by a USSF "A" Licensed Program Director with 15 years of pro playing and coaching experience, and all staff are USSF-licensed and background-checked. This professional-grade coaching is behind our 10+ State Cup championships and 35+ college placements since 2001.
Yes. Where you live does not limit recruiting when you play at the SOCAL National 1 League level, and we have placed 35+ players into college programs, including athletes from smaller Temecula Valley communities. Our tournaments and showcase events give Wildomar players national visibility.
Yes. We welcome beginners of all ages, and our recreational programs start with early youth sessions for ages 3 and up, going through structured teen leagues. We focus on fun and fundamentals first, so many Wildomar families start at the rec level and move to competitive teams as skills grow.
