SWSC Private Training provides players with individualized coaching designed to accelerate development and address specific areas of improvement.

While team training is essential, private sessions offer the opportunity to focus entirely on the individual player. With one-on-one attention, athletes receive detailed instruction, immediate feedback, and consistent repetitions that help build confidence and refine technique.

Private training is ideal for players who:

  • Want to improve specific technical skills such as finishing, first touch, or ball control
  • Are looking to build confidence on the ball
  • Are preparing for competitive tryouts or higher levels of play
  • Want to accelerate their overall development

Each program begins with a discussion of the player’s goals, followed by an initial assessment to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this, our licensed coaches design a customized training plan tailored to the player’s needs.

Sessions are structured, high-energy, and game-focused. Players work on technical execution at speed, decision-making under pressure, and proper mechanics in realistic scenarios. Coaches provide constant feedback to ensure players understand how to improve and apply corrections immediately.

Video feedback may be incorporated to help players better understand their movement, positioning, and technique.

Private training sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be scheduled based on availability. Flexible options are available, including single sessions or discounted multi-session packages.

At SWSC, private training is designed to give players the focused attention and structure needed to reach the next level with confidence.

Southwest Soccer Club has coached players in the Temecula Valley since 2001, and private soccer coaching is one way we help training players keep developing. Over more than 25 years we have worked with every level, from first-time beginners to college-bound athletes.

In our experience, the first question a family asks is whether a program fits their child right now, so we start with a free evaluation rather than a sales pitch. Over 25 seasons we found that players placed at the right level improve faster and stay in the game longer, which is exactly what this program is built to support.

Two things matter to every soccer parent: safety and coaching. On safety, the CDC's HEADS UP program explains the concussion signs every family should recognize. On coaching, our director holds the USSF “A” License, the highest coaching qualification in U.S. soccer, earned by fewer than 1% of American coaches.
